AIR's post-disaster team maintains a continuing presence in Turkey collecting data and conducting detailed sample block surveys in the affected areas. The team has traveled to Golcuk, Adapazari, Bagcilar, and Avcilar this week. They have observed extreme levels of damage in Golcuk, a densely-populated city with many structures built on the fault line. The AIR post-disaster team will present a comprehensive report of their observations in all affected areas, including video footage, at the upcoming Users’ Conference in London on September 28-29.
