A magnitude 7.2 earthquake struck the coast of Peru overnight, near the Atiquipa district, at a depth of 28 kilometers. Shaking was felt as far as the capital Lima, 600 kilometers away. Initial reports indicated some damage and a few injuries, but no fatalities. No tsunami was generated by the quake.

Compatible with Touchstone® and Touchstone Re™, the SSEs were selected based on the event’s location, magnitude, and depth. They should only be used with exposures in Peru.
