Posting Date: July 10, 2005, 9:30:00 AM
After leaving Cuba significantly weakened, Hurricane Dennis has regained strength to become a very dangerous Category 4 hurricane. As of 11:00 a.m. EDT, Sunday, July 10, Dennis was centered about 125 miles southeast of Mobile, Alabama, and about 80 miles south-southeast of Pensacola, Florida. Dennis’ track continues along a north-northwesterly course, now with a forward speed of 18 mph. We will continue to monitor the storm closely and will be posting a full range of loss estimates and event sets for landfall late today.
