ALERT™ subscribers can download similar stochastic event (SSE) IDs for Hurricane Tammy from the Downloads tab of this posting on the ALERT website. Compatible with Touchstone® and Touchstone Re™, the SSEs were selected based on Tammy’s key meteorological parameters at landfall, in particular central pressure, storm track, and forward speed. They may be used with exposures across the Caribbean region, excluding Bermuda.
Catalog Viewer users can use the following ranges of parameters for Hurricane Tammy:
- Minimum Central Pressure: 980 to 1000 mb
- Radius of Maximum Winds: 5 to 20 miles
- Forward Speed: 5 to 20 mph
